Anything new you've gotten into recently? Any fandoms where you've been devouring the fic?

I haven't really devoured much fic yet but I recently started watching Hypnosis Mic and plan on reading the manga. I'd been vaguely aware of it but didn't know what it was quite about but stumbled across a fic that I read for it and liked enough I decided to give it a try. The premise is typical "you must not only suspend but eviscerate and throw out in the trash the unrecognizable corpse of your disbelief" animanga stuff that I have a love/hate relationship with and I don't quite vibe with most of the music (though so far I think Fling Posse's stuff sounds the best to me) but I'm enjoying it and like the characters well enough. I figure I'll probably enjoy the manga more since there's more there and I won't be distracted by actual musical numbers.

I'm waiting to finish the anime and then maybe read some of the manga before getting back into the Ao3 tags for it because I don't want to get spoiled too terribly on the majority of the plot.

If you want some classic gay pirate stuff, might I recommend the Crossing Swords archives? While the archive I was on was Jack/Reader, we had the Will/Jack or Jack/Norrie site listed as an affiliate/sister site.

As an aside, I think having such an open site (as in, here are web rings and affiliate sites w/other pairings you might be into it) that linked to other ships (her or slash) really helped shaped my early and therefore future fandom experiences. Like I never saw what the big issue was with shipping
We can all have what we want, it's fic lol.

I really want to watch that show in theory because it's super relevant to my interests but I haven't watched a single TV show past the third episode in years because I always get bored and hate wasting time like that.
