I haven't really devoured much fic yet but I recently started watching Hypnosis Mic and plan on reading the manga. I'd been vaguely aware of it but didn't know what it was quite about but stumbled across a fic that I read for it and liked enough I decided to give it a try. The premise is typical "you must not only suspend but eviscerate and throw out in the trash the unrecognizable corpse of your disbelief" animanga stuff that I have a love/hate relationship with and I don't quite vibe with most of the music (though so far I think Fling Posse's stuff sounds the best to me) but I'm enjoying it and like the characters well enough. I figure I'll probably enjoy the manga more since there's more there and I won't be distracted by actual musical numbers.

I'm waiting to finish the anime and then maybe read some of the manga before getting back into the Ao3 tags for it because I don't want to get spoiled too terribly on the majority of the plot.
