They should definitely not rescind his Oscar and I don't think they will. Like you said, if they're going to start taking Oscars back over bad behavior there are a LOT of people who've done a LOT worse than Smith.

I expect a temporary suspension from the Academy or something like that, if anything.

(Pure speculation but I would not be shocked if Rock's public statement is along the lines of "I accept his apology and I kind of deserved it."
