What are you reading this week?

Severance by Robert Butler. Decapitation and the 90 seconds one experiences before death is an awesome theme for a collection of short stories and poems that unfortunately proved not as interesting in its, ah, excuse the pun, 'execution'.

Started Tantric Coconuts by Greg Kincaid last weekend, but I'm thinking I might not finish it. Already it's got some, like, not out-and-out racism, but one of the main characters is an Indigenous woman, and the author is a white man, and IT SHOWS. Ya girl is the most stereotypical Native American, hippie-ish character. Also, his writing style and pacing are very dry and slow so far. Thinking of switching to Cat's Eye by Margaret Atwood instead.

AYRT - That's another thing! I thought it would be funny based on the title, but it's sooooo self-serious. :(

And tbh??? Im really GLAD the showrunners changed a few things up in witcher season 2. some parts in the middle of the book nearly bored me to tears.
