Pretty much every Batman since they started on the grimdark trend. Also - and sorry, guys who like them - most every Star Wars since...forever. Also Prometheus, holy fuck, that was a bad movie.

Only good movie in the Alien universe is the first one.

Ah ha ha. About that I disagree. I loved Alien, but i also loved Aliens (the extended cut to be precise) just as much, though it is a thoroughly different movie. The third one was...not great, over all, but had some really good moments. The fourth one also had good *moments*, but was over all not good at all. So there's a hierarchy, for sure.
Everything after Aliens, though, was a bit of a letdown, and the 'new' ones are just gods-awful.

Aliens is fine. Like, it's not close to being as good as the original but it's still better than the vast majority of movies ever made.

I like Alien Resurrection. I'm not saying it's good, just that I like it. (ahhh, my first femslash fandom)

And what really got me was the only intimate, quite and soul bearing scene between two characters in the whole movie was between them.
