Can't say I was really invested in her character, but that's fair.

I didn't much care about her one way or another. But I do hate it when characters are randomly turned into villains (or villains into heroes for that matter) without a reasonable explanation and character development for it to make sense.

I dislike the idea of making her a villain because to me it feels like kind of a 'gotcha' against the fans for her being unpopular and for the failed attempt at pairing her with Captain America. Like 'see, you all hated her when she was a good guy so now she's an edgy villain bitch queen girlboss,' because the writers don't want to admit she was unpopular due to being poorly written and shoved into a forced romance plot.

To me it looked like a cheap way to prop up Sam as Cap, by nerfing or bastardizing every other heroic character in the franchise.

yeah, her turn felt very "no one like's this character, let's change everything about her and see if that improves things" to me.

I liked it but I would have preferred to see some of these changes rather than having them briefly narrated.
