When you say "ignore" do you mean a) the power imbalance is never actually "used" in that both partners are given relatively the same autonomy, b) the power imbalance is "used" but the show never thinks it's a problem/does think it is evidence of a great romance, c) it's played for laughs or irony or horror or d) some other option. Because I can ignore 1 and sometimes 3, but 2 is much harder for me.
