Re: Sleep schedule

(Anonymous) 2022-04-03 08:29 pm (UTC)(link)
When I go to sleep, I have no idea when I'll wake up. Sometimes in an hour. Sometimes in four hours. If I'm lucky, six. One time I slept for 22 hours for no apparent reason; it was the best day of my life. It does depend on when I go to sleep -- if I fall asleep during the day, I'm much more likely to sleep longer. If I go to bed at a time like 10 PM or midnight, I'm almost certain to wake up an hour later and be unable to get back to sleep for another three hours or more.

I don't understand how anyone can function without an alarm. Even if I regularly woke up at exactly the same time, I wouldn't trust my body enough to bet my job on it.

Also I'm pretty sure I have irregular sleep-wake rhythm disorder.
