Y'all are some serious morning people.

I'm reading most of these posts with question marks over my head. If you ask me, any time before 3:30 PM is too early to be up. I know I'm an exaggeration, but I do think anyone saying any time before noon is ideal is genuinely baffling.

Calling most of the people in this thread morning people sounds like the exaggeration to me.

I consider anyone up by or before 6AM a morning person. I prefer waking up between 9 and 10 am, but trust me when I say I ain't doing shit before noon, except maybe make coffee.

DA - Personally, I would call anyone who gets up by or before 8AM and likes it that way to be a morning person.

Someone can get up at 5AM every day, but if they hate every minute of it and long to sleep in until noon, they're not a morning person, IMO. But if you can sleep in as much as you want and you still choose to get up by 8AM most days, then I'd consider you a morning person.

YMMV, that's just how I see it.

Yeah, exactly. I get up anywhere between 6 and 9 most days, occasionally sleep in until 10 if I have a day off and have gotten so little sleep in the last few weeks that I can't do anything BUT sleep. And I still always wake up feeling way worse and more exhausted than when I went to bed. I am definitely not a "wake up in the AM" person at all, but for work? Have to be.

Anytime I wake up after 11 AM, I feel like the day has been wasted.

I think part of this is that it takes me a really long time to boot up and come to full awareness once I actually am awake. So if I wake up at noon, it's going to be 1:30 or 2 before I feel mentally ready to actually accomplish anything.

Unfortunately, the world runs on a morning person's schedule. I would be very happy to get up later, but I have work to go to.
