I've seen worse. I've seen so many threads full of people who have been "writing a book" for the past 20 years, that were all bemoaning the popularity of their nonexistent masterpieces. "Oh, the fandom for my book (that I'll never write) would be so very horrible! Just plain dreadful! The boundless legions of fans it would surely amass would be awful! Being a world-famous author sure is hard for me!". I feel like people are really just engaging in a fantasy in which their favorite fandoms are large enough to have these "bad" fans.
