Not OP, but maybe. But also, it's pretty harmless? Like, OP is getting inspired and is creating so it may be messing with them but it's hard to read it as malicious?

I initially thought it might be messing with me too so was very careful when replying to the first email, but the pictures they sent in one of the later emails were selfies from a tv set (i didn't even know this person took selfies tbh) and also this isn't anyone mega famous so idk how much fun it would be for someone to pretend to be them (also they knew about stuff i wrote to them in a fan letter that nobody else knows about)

That's awesome, OP! I once made a silly little youtube video when Sherlock was huge and Stephen Moffat and Mark Gattis in an interview commented on it and admitted they found it amusing. It made my month!!!
