Say what you will about offline fandom, teens are VERY online and very keyed in to trends and social movements. Harry Potter TikTok would be huuuuuge on that platform if the franchise had the social currency of the early to mid-2010s Pottermore days.

That's true, I keep on forgetting about the kids.

After thinking about it, the only way the series I think the series can recover is if Hollywood can get her to relinquish control of HP entirely. 30 and over fans aren't going to keep HP afloat forever.
