I mean, you're not wrong. It's just that ordinarily in a franchise like this you have a not insignificant number of diehard fans that will keep showing up to these things no matter how far down your leg before you vanish it the toilet it goes, as a matter of pride. That's who JKR is driving away with her bullshit. Not all of them, obviously, but a fair few.
