I am banned from Gaia Online after having spent years on the site (I was banned probably ten years ago so no clue what the site is like now). I don't know why I was banned because no one ever told me I was. My account just doesn't work anymore and no one will help me when I create a burner (which you're supposed to do) to post in the forums and try to get help.

I did have like 15 accounts but I only dressed the characters (they were RP characters) and filled out their profiles. I never botted or syphoned. But I did get in trouble with a mod just before I got spooked and ghosted for a while and came back to find I couldn't get back in.

Basically, I had BEEN a mod on the site for a couple of years but the heat mod, BrightHeart or whatever her name was in charge of my section HATED me (I suspect because I'm trans since she made comments about my voice during skype chats and things and told me I didn't 'sound like a dude' and kept asking me what my 'real' name was even after I told her my legal name). But I stopped being a mod because she was so horrible and harassing and there was no one to go to over her head who wasn't her friend.

So I started having trouble with this one user begging me for items under the guise of 'sarcasm' - she'd be like 'oh if you don't mind the (item) being updated then why don't you just buy me one then?' and stuff like that, nonsensical begging/trolling and one of my former friends who was a mod told me to report her next time she did it and she'd take care of it. So I did. And the person who responded to my post was BRIGHTHEART and she wanted to know what I was doing attacking her 'good friend who doesn't troll' and wanted all these receipts. So I provided what I could and explained that another mod had told me to report her for her behavior if it happened again. And BrightHeart wanted to know the mod's name. Now I wasn't about to sink my friend who loved being a mod and took a lot of pride in it so I just closed the window and never responded. Checked in a few times to find messages from BrightHeart badgering me to know the mod's name. I never responded and ghosted the site for a while, which might not have been the smartest move on my part but I was anxious and nervous and I just panicked. Now I can't get in. COINCIDENCE? ...I really doubt it.
