For me she works best when she leans into the timing issues, or says something that was definitely meant to shock (and you probably already guessed) but it has a different slant to it because so many people have difficulty accepting that people with a disability can be filthy, are sexual beings etc.

Also it's not a failing to need subtitles. Personally the more I was exposed to her speaking, the better I'm tuned into it.
