Inspired by today's Secret #5.

I would love a Wizard of Oz adaption that actually sticks to the story of the book, though it is extremely unlikely we'll ever get that. But I think the Oz series could make for a really awesome tv show.

I would love a tv show based on Galaxy Quest.

Looper could also make a good tv show.

Honestly, I'm just a huge fan of tv shows based on movies. 12 Monkeys is amazing, and the Sarah Connor Chronicles is pretty good too. There are some ideas that just work well when fleshed out from a movie into a tv series.

A live action version, either tv or movie, of How to Train Your Dragon. A Hellboy tv show, if done by the right people, could be great.

Bright had really interesting concepts and could be fleshed out into a great tv show.

A Dragonslayer remake with newer effects but still having fun with it could be good. Same with Legend.

I think a Hellboy TV show would really go over well with current audiences and would be super fun (granted the right people are at the helm but that's always the deal.)

I'd be down for an animated TV series for Legend.

I've seen many, many movie and TV versions of Alice in Wonderland.
I've never seen one that does the books justice, and I really want to.

Hercules: The Legendary Journeys and Hercules and Iolaus actually get to fuck the second time around.

Hell, now I just want this because it would probably piss off Kevin Sorbo.

The Hobbit needs to be done right. (And preferably without Martin Freeman. )

Hard agree. I was perfectly prepared to enjoy the Hobbit movies as popcorn flicks and I'm not a purist. But they were not very good, the look was wrong and I am not a Freeman fan.

I honestly do hope that the Rock eventually ends up making a Doc Savage movie. Doc Savage is a fun character, and while I don't usually love the Rock, it's a perfect role for him and he's probably the only actor that could do the role justice - on the one hand the Rock is the perfect physical manifestation of a bronzed superhuman sexless man-mountain, and on the other hand it's a role where it doesn't matter if the Rock is sexless and slightly robotic. A match made in heaven.

I still want a The Dark is Rising adaption that doesn't suck, preferably animated and done by Cartoon Saloon (the studio that made Secret of Kells and Song of the Sea).

Animated would be good but I would also accept old-school British television style.

Except I guess I don't know if British television still knows how to make shows like that successfully. It seems like the Brits have really leaned into wanting to sex everything on TV up and that doesn't work at all for Dark Is Rising. It should be low budget as hell, because it's ultimately such a rural, old-fashioned series in my mind.

Anything that I'm only casually interested in, but nothing which I'm already invested in. Reboots of stuff I'm already a big fan of lead to nothing but pain.

I'd love a cartoon or tv show or movie or even a new comic run about the Invaders. They are a delightful mess but the MCU is way too far off from the 616 to make it work. I need a nu-boot.
