Worst/Corniest Lines You've Ever Written

In fic, original fiction, drawerfic that will never see the light of day, or even in an imagined scenario you've had.


In a piece of drawer fic I wrote:
"Don't mention his name in our bed, dammit!"
- pillow talk scene
- it's almost melodramatic, because A is insecure and B is reassuring A
- for bonus corny points, the "dammit" is spoken in another language, because of course, let's show off A & B can both speak this other language/be "emphatic"

The whole thing is just super corny and I would rewrite the scene.

How about you guys?

I wrote a fic with A and B that was super melodramatic. There was one scene where A is talking about her tragic past and B starts crying because A won’t cry for herself. Just thinking about it makes me cringe.
