Re: Good/bad reboots

High Society is good. The Mummy (1999) is great. Ocean's Eleven is fun. I like Star Trek (AOS) and Star Trek Beyond {What? There's a movie between those? No, I think you're mistaken.} I like The Blob (1988) for its pure, cheesy 80sosity. The Fly (1986) s very engrossing, in a couple different ways. I like both Freaky Friday (2003) and Freaky. I like the Tom Holland Spider-Man movies and also, The Amazing Spider-Man.

I like The Magnificent Seven (TV series). I enjoy some of Hawaii Five-0. (I'm not counting Teen Wolf (TV series) as a reboot/remake because all it had in common with the movie was a few names. And there were a couple callouts.)

The Poseidon Adventure (2005) is not a good movie, though it is pretty watchable. Village of the Damned (1995) is also not a good movie, but I also find it fairly watchable. I don't much like Bewitched (2005). And I don't care for Halloween (2018), if that counts. Dracula 2000 is so bad, just so, so bad - also goes for Godzilla (1998).

Don't care for The Odd Couple (2015) or V (2009).

But mostly anything that didn't seem like it was going to be good, I've avoided watching, and there are a few others that are just okay.
