I was looking at notebooks recently and saw one I didn't recognise as HP merch until I turned it over and saw the copyright on it, because I don't know anything about it other than what I've picked up from pop cultural osmosis. I would be mortified if someone thought I was trying to send them secret hate messages just because I didn't realise my scarf was Harry Potter colours or something.
