He's been phoning it in for years, although I did like him in the Dark Shadows movie.

Same. I never thought he was a good actor. I could tolerate him during his younger Tiger Beat years, and I thought he was decent in Benny & Joon. But ever since he had his big comeback thanks to Pirates of the Caribbean, I couldn’t stand him. Both in regards to his acting, and the fact that he was everywhere. Even when that over-saturation ended, I thought his acting was so blah.
