I went to the Stanford University powwow today, which is back after a two-year pandemic absence, yay! I had a buffalo fry bread taco, which was delicious, and listened to the music and watched the dances. It did my heart some good, I hadn't been to a powwow in 4 years. But there weren't nearly as many vendors as there are in "normal" years, and this was especially true of the food vendors. And a fully loaded taco is fifteen bucks now (plain fry bread was eight, ten with strawberries).
