Considering people very much disagree on what those "fundamental flaws" are I think it is far more subjective than you are willing to admit.

Not really. Subjectivity will always apply to any situation, of course. But there’s a lot of pretty much agreed upon flaws just as there are personal quibbles. And it’s also a bit disingenuous to imply that ayrt is lying, because they “won’t admit” to something you disagree with them on. That’s on the level of some people saying “these movies are a lot better than people are willing to admit.”. When that’s not true, in that nobody has the obligation to agree with something someone else thinks, thus “admit to” it. And also that just because someone likes something, it doesn’t mean it isn’t flawed. What’s wrong with liking flawed art, warts and all? Why does it suddenly need to be “good, actually”?
