AYRT Yes! It's like they took a tenth of what made the book great, and the rest of the production was shite. But everything is generally such shallow trash these days that people were still falling over themselves about it. So depressing.

OP of disliking GO. I don't think people are shallow and I don't have any strong position about every new show being bad. I just hate this particular show, it's not funny (for me), I hate Tennant in this role and meh on Sheen, I like him but I don't like him in this particular role. Also queerbating debate is tiresome, I am tired of people saying that main characters are good QPR representation (no they are not). And I am mad at Gaiman for doing second season after saying that he isn't going to

This is understandable, and there doesn’t need to be a good reason to dislike something. As long as you’re not being an asshole about it. Which you weren’t, considering your comment was perfectly fine, and you aren’t one of the anons who called fans shallow.

I think second anon mostly calls shows shallow and not fans. I am not necessary agree, but I do believe people sometimes are too generous with their praise. It can get annoying really quick.
