Funny how this this is an opinion thread about media we hate, but I'm having to defend a media i hate? I hate it, period, end of sentence. Don't wanna watch, don't give a fuck about it. Go re-re-re-watch if that's your groove, but please quit with the 'but!!!' bullshite, because I. Don't. Care.

Gonna tell me how 'The Bachelor' has redeeming qualities next? I hate that media, too.

If you have said that you hate stories about drags and do not want to watch it, whatever. Fair. But you make assumptions about the show and then are getting annoyed that people defend it.

Yes, because why bother? I saw a couple shows in the lists that I liked that others hate, but I'm not leaping to their defense because...why? I'm not here to make you love something you've already said you hated, and your opinion isn't going to change mine, so what's the point? Go watch BB, have fun, whoo hoo. I won't be. Shouldn't make a damn bit of difference to you or anyone else.

Well, to start with I have fun arguing about things that are not life or death situations. Anyway.
I've seen things people dislike things I do like and ignored them because whatever, people can dislike things. We are on fandom secrets. But they don't judge this things because some imaginary faults. Or maybe they do, but they didn't mention it. So

It’s not about stating something has redeeming qualities to people who don’t like it, or that nobody is allowed to dislike the show. It’s just that you and Greg are off base about the show glamorizing drugs. It’s fine to hate the show, but inventing reasons based on misunderstanding the media, and claiming it’s doing something it’s definitely not is a different matter. There’s zero reason to get so defensive about someone pointing out the show isn’t making drugs look glamorous.

And The Bachelor is a terrible comparison, considering it’s a show about real people being awful, and not a fictional show with fictional characters. The fact is that this reason for disliking Breaking Bad isn’t going to ring true to anyone who’s actually watched it. And being belligerent to them about your surface level opinion, and acting like they’re attacking you for pointing out how the show actually frames the thing you’re basing your criticism on, isn’t the best way to go about this. Also, nobody asked you to defend the show just because they pointed out it’s not doing the thing you claimed it was doing? Nobody had anything to say when it was just stating someone doesn’t like something, it’s only when someone goes “I hate it because it’s doing [insert surface criticism]”, and people familiar know better that that’s not true.

Greg and Tabaqui both make snap judgments based on incorrect assumptions about things they’ve only heard about constantly. This isn’t even the first time this week for either of them. You don’t have to like it, but suggesting that they’re betraying their better natures by acting like themselves is a bit thick.
