I mean to be fair I'd much rather you want to be him than want him. IDK I think Edward's personality is grossly misunderstood all over the board. He's either a lame-ass Hallmark card, an emotional abuser, or like THE MOST PERFECT ADONIS EVER. It sickens me.

The quality of Twilight as a work of art aside, I don't see anything wrong with wanting to say the boy's lines. What's so terribly, incredibly different about boys and girls that women can't identify with how men think?

Another thought: sometimes, in romances, finding that you want to say the guy's lines to the girl instead of wanting to hear them said to you by a guy is one of the things that makes some of us realize we aren't 100% straight. And that's okay too.

(Or it could just be that the girl's lines suck and the boy's don't. Twilight aside, again, since I haven't read it/don't plan to.)
