Easily the best episode of the first season. Yes, even better than "City on the Edge of Forever" and "Balance of Terror," if only because Korby, Ruk, and Andrea make up some kind of crazy Id-Ego-Superego on the planet.

Here's the thing: when Sci-Fi started running the entire series uncut again in those 90-minute slots, I watched it again. It was always one of my favorites, but now I shipped Kirk/Andrea. I was always disappointed by the ending; every time I wanted them to find some way to take her with them, make her the yeoman after Rand bolted off the ship.

Weird, I know, but imagine the possibilities!
