Well, it's not so much that the album's entirely based on the book as that the book and the album were created simultaneously and sort of cross-pollinated a lot -- but yeah, you'll probably get more out of the album (awesome as it already is) if you read the book. I did, anyway.

141. You could remove it and say it was an honest mistake... but there's a lot about the situation that I don't know, so I dare not give advice.

I have a hard time figuring out where if at all I fit into the RaceFail discussion... initially I got the impression that it was just a spat between authors about the relationship between their worldbuilding and the actuality of people living in the worlds and the mythos that they borrow from. I used to read SF/F but I got out of it for want of being inspired after a while (my last favorite books where the Lankhmar trilogy and Connie Willis' Bellwether in high school - admittedly that isn't saying much). I've read different posts about it since but I felt like I had more questions than answers as a result, and I don't know where the discussion is supposed to take us all as readers and writers because it seems like the people with the real problems are so stubborn all that can be done is to point them out for what they're doing. That's just my $0.02 though.

tl;dr The conversation is meaningful, I just don't know how.

135. Oddly enough I was reading an old Entertainment Weekly today and they reviewd that movie and gave it a C. I thought all the critics gave it A's. That being said, I kind of agree. I thought it was overrated. Maybe if I gave it another chance like Napoleon Dynamite which I initially hated and now love I'd like it. But I couldn't find much comedy there. It was a little depressing.

150. This just loaded for me so I had to comment. Have you seen the guy who used to play Shaggy at Universal Studios? I was watching some videos on Youtube and he was attractive. I felt bad because I was considering planning trips there with my niece and nephew just to meet him. ;) I heard he's gone now, probably because of crazy girls like myself.

I still miss Dr.Greene, Lucy, and Pratt so much! ;_; And I was an on again off again girl a couple seasons after Greene died... but I made sure to watch the last season-- and dang it was so good! I was like "If they would have had everything like this I bet it wouldn't be ending!" Oh, and btw-- I still am grieving for Greene and Lucy. ;_; and I was in horrible shock when Pratt died.
