I notice this mostly with all-age films, because we can't have faith that kids won't imitate/get the wrong lesson and assume they'll grow up to be terrible people. Like I saw the trailer for that Bad Guys movie and the minute the main character states he wanted to be a good guy, I immediately lost all interest. Man, we could have just had an awesome Ocean's 1

Ack! Same anon from above. Posted too quickly.

But yeah, we could have had an awesome Ocean's 11 for a younger audience. Or maybe I'm still a bit disgruntled that the Despicable Me sequels didn't continue with Gru training his kids to be a master thief villain like him. I'm just saying, that would have been awesome.
