The arguments and accusations of homophobia, racism, sexism, etc, being flung at people who didn't enjoy the show are not in good faith either. If the side of fandom that hates the older fans will stop throwing that accusation around every ten seconds, not to mention gloating over new Trek not wanting or needing older fans in the fandom, then maybe I'll stop throwing the counter around too.
