Must be fun to have a computer that isn't ancient and has virtually no RAM ):

:((((( Well, not atm anyway, but let me paint a little picture for you:

Only Firefox is open. One tab is up, maybe two. There's a CRT monitor you're looking into that's older than you are. It flickers yellow and blue every so often. You're on Windows XP, SP 3. Down below you by your feet, you hear a noise resembling a rocket getting ready to launch. It's your computer. You're not sure why it makes this noise, but every so often, it sounds as if it's preparing to blast off into orbit. This computer's from 2002. There's still a sticker on it declaring that it has an ~incredible 128 MB RAM~. Although you think that perhaps it was upgraded once in its lifetime; you're pretty sure it has 512 MB now.

But that doesn't change the fact that it's so slow that you can't decide whether it's just old or loaded down with trojans. Every time your virus scan updates, everything just stops, and you're forced to walk away from the computer for about 30 minutes so you can wait for it to finish. Sometimes when an auto update comes in and it restarts, it can't quite get past the "Windows is shutting down" screen. This is a machine that is well past its prime, but it's such a trooper that it just doesn't know when to quit.

And this is the machine that I was using every day until a couple of months ago.

And f!s always loaded.

I'm maxed out with 256 MB SDRAM on this computer which is from 2003, and it's actually impossible to upgrade sooooo... needless to say, this machine does not load F!S without a great deal of time delay. It takes eons to load pages and I simply cannot scroll page to page. ):

ughhh, that sucks. Well, if it's any consolation, with mine, where I would at least get the secrets to load, I couldn't really expand any comment threads, lol. Froze right up every time. So I get what you're saying. I guess I'm just not sure how this would actually improve anything.
