Re: How was your day, FS?

The worst part was getting up at 5:00 am to walk 6 miles to a covid testing site while covid positive, getting almost all the way there, and getting an email saying rather than making me walk all that way HR would accept a photo of my positive at home test... like the one I sent my boss already yesterday morning. And then getting to the testing site and having to register and get tested and then turn around and walk home. 12.6 miles, total.

The best part was the three hour nap after I got home, ate something, and fell over unconscious on the couch.

SA--plans for tomorrow are dropping off my chicken who can't walk at the vet for her bath; originally the vet cancelled since he's the new owner and won't see chickens, but I begged the receptionist and said I'd sign a waiver because eventually she'll die of infection or parasites if she doesn't get bathed, and the vet tech who does it still works there and doesn't mind.

I've tried, and can't wash her myself. I can sort of wash some of my other hens, but generally if they're dirty enough to need baths and docile or lethargic enough not to try and escape the sink, it means they're too sick to save.
