I totally get you with the tiny fandom with half dead dove and half too fluffy. So weird to see such a split.

That really sucks though. I know it's not quite the same, but are there any ships in bigger fandoms with similar dynamics? If there are, you may have a chance of finding a decent enough AU where you can Ctrl+Replace names...

Sadly I really mostly prefer world-building with a side dish of OTP in my fandoms so cooypasting my way through does not work. But I usually just go to my bigger fandoms to read some other pairings and wait for first obsession to pass.
Still. Damn I would like some fics

My fandom is solidly medium sized, but this^ part is incredibly relatable. And as someone who isn't interested in either Dead Dove or fluff, it's fucking rough, lol.

It happens so often I just can't. I am also rarely in for the kinks so finding fics to read even in bigger fandoms can get frustrating pretty fast

Sending hugs, OP....... I've fallen into a fandom where, so far, I am literally the only one who wrote stuff for my OTP. It is a fairly young fandom, but with nowadays puritanical atmosphere I am not holding my breath for anyone to also jump into the wagon, considering the ship is P R O B L E M A T I C

I am not really comfortable telling, it IS a really small fandom, but it's one of the smaller (fictional) podcasts. But since I prefer podcasts, web-series or non-usa media I do it to myself a lot. What have I done to deserve all the dead dove fics I am not sure though.
