NAYRT but I'm guessing they get more into fandom stuff when their depression kicks in as a way to distract themself from feeling like ass.

Personally I both get more focused on fandom because I'm trying to escape life but also less emotional about it because my depression makes me flat. I pay more attention to fandom but I care less.

Man, I feel that. Except I keep trying to escape into it like it's going to change things when I know it's not, and then I don't want to engage with the material at all.
