I had to write an eewwwwww pairing for a fix exchange once (to let you know how long again this was it was Ian McKellen / John Rys-Davies) I wrote Sean Bean / Viggo Mortensen then changed the names before uploading it. Sean was Ian so I could “light coloured hair” hahahahha/ memories!

Anyway, I hope the nightmare didn’t cause poor sleep.

IDK this doesn't seem that weird to me as a theme for a nightmare/stress dream. Clearly it's something you would find unpleasant in waking life. Why should any particular area of activity be off limits? If fic writing is something you do a lot it seems natural to me that you could dream about it, including negatively.

agreed. that's also why i really liked that he apologises to the old man he got thrown out in the beginning despite that they could have left it as a gag.

(it's a shame they don't do that for all the girls he insults though, but i guess you have to draw the line somewhere)

I agree and I also find Kronk and Yzma a very nuanced balance to that message, because Kronk is out here causing c h a o s, but he's a sweetheart so no one cares.

There are so many other stories that need the foot note (*Unless who you are is a giant jerk who treats people poorly then you'll need to change and be kinder in order to be happy) and it is deeply aggravating.

This movie gets it. I love this movie for many reasons and that's one.

... okay, I admit it's been years since I read the book, but how on earth was Harriet a sociopath in HTS? She was a young child who was going through a period of major upheaval to her life and didn't know how to handle it in healthy ways (and also didn't have good adult support), and the entire plot of the novel was her learning that what she had done wasn't okay and how to redirect her feelings into more healthy outputs. Her friends didn't forgive her until she apologized and meant it and showed that she recognized that what she had done to them was wrong.
