I haven't read this, but it looks really neat! Better world books has a couple of copies for sale, and horrible Amazon has Kindle versions as well as hardback and paperback (mostly used).

So - it's out there. I'm gonna see if the library here has it or can get it. Thanks for the semi-deliberate rec! :D
