I like the classic damsel in distress who doesn't try to do anything but scream and cry, because that's how I'd act if what happens to them happened to me. Don't expect me to fight back and shout threats at whoever's responsible for my distress. I'd be too scared to even think of it. So I hate the modern damsel in distress stereotype where they give her guts to make up for lacking power. Nobody needs to prove they're brave and badass in distress to be worth saving.
