Hm. Well, do big heterosexual male-led military action movies still get big slashy fanbases? I mean I hope for your sake that they do, but it doesn't seem to be a common thing that happens anymore.

Also re this movie.... on the one hand, I like the look of it and there aren't enough big splashy action-adventure stories and also who is she and I am looking respectfully; but on the other hand, yeesh, it's made by Netflix and directed by the author of the original book and it's his first time directing a feature film so.... that doesn't seem like a great sign. Much to consider.

It was exactly as cheesy and as fun as I thought it was going to be, and I am also looking respectfully - she is Elsa Pataky, and she is reminding me that I am very bi haha
