Fandom: The Lost Tomb; CW: Mild spoilers

My favourite Lost Tomb arc is Warehouse 11. Not just because it's creepy, or for the adorable sidekick who knows so much more than she's saying.

But it's Wu Xie running almost entirely solo, picking his way through an arcane institution where he can't trust anybody and he understands nothing, taking a beating and picking himself back up, paring himself down to get in a place he needs to be, cracking a difficult test with a week of note-cribbing and chewing-gum to get to another place he needs, finding levers, finding more levers, sympathising with the mook that beat him up that time, trapped in a glass box and coolly laying out his demands...

Don't get me wrong, he's a delight when he's with the Iron Triangle. But W11 shows me why he holds up one corner of it.
