Imagine reading a genre that has a guaranteed majority of male characters and being huffy it's not about women. Like, I get it, there are not a whole lot female characters in m/m stories, let alone well-written important ones but if you wanted to "read about women" you definitely picked the wrong subgenre.

The thing that always surprises me about female characters in m/m media is precisely how 2D they are. It's almost like gay male authors are even worse at writing female characters than straight ones. I guess it's because women have at least one redeeming feature to straight men - they can be fucked. Whereas they are irredeemable to gay men.

Honestly, it's hard not to straight out just hate men at this point.
