Flea Market Flip : two teams are given three challenges and must go to a flea market and "flip" the items according to the challenge. There's good natured "we're gonna win" and I don't recall seeing any insults. I just love seeing items being transformed. They're then sold at Brooklyn flea market or some place similar. Winner is based off of who made the most money off of their flips.

Love it or List it:
The real estate agent vs the interior designer. A couple must decide if they want to stay in the house (that will be renovated by the designer) or if they will move into a new space (provided by the real estate agent). The agent and the designer bicker like an old married couple and it's all a sham but again, I love the transformations and I find the arguments cute.

...The original Love it or List it (that I'm familiar with, idk maybe it's only the canadian version?) is snippy as all hell. They bitch about everything, from what I remember. I guess the Vancouver version is a lot better, but then again it's been a while.

Well, you do have a point about things being snippy as hell, but I always took it as playful banter/old married couple squabbling. It's not full on malicious shitting on the other person, so I included it. But you've got a definite point! The threshold can be different for people!
