I get what you mean.


And I mean, politics has ~broader implications~ too, but I don’t think everyone should force themselves to have opinions on everything politic all the time if they don’t want to or if it would be detrimental to their mental health. Not literally everyone HAS to have an opinion on everything that COULD have a broader societal implications all the time. And politics probably isn’t even a good example honestly, because there are some actual arguments to be made about why caring about certain political topics is worthwhile and can make a difference(if you’re in the right headspace to where you feel you can participate, of course). Unlike this trial, where whatever broader implications possibly stemming from it are not enough reason for literally everybody to have an opinion if they genuinely don’t care to have one. Just let people live, Sarah!
