the way she framed it was like "i agree it never should have made public... so think about who insisted on making it public and who is benefiting from that" it annoyed me a lot.

I actually do agree with her there, at least I would if this case wasn’t a bit more complicated than that.

you agree we all need to think about the trial? we all need to think about why that trial was made a public, that is something we should spend time and energy on? pondering the defamation trial of two strangers? that is what is important?

Thinking about who made it public is what I meant, which wasn’t part of her “everyone needs an opinion on this” spiel. So no, I don’t mean literally everyone should care about that or think about this part, just that it’s something to consider for the people who already care. Or it would be what I thought, and this is where reading someone’s comments before you respond to them in bad faith comes in handy, “if this case wasn’t a bit more complicated than that.”. Meaning that ultimately it’s not as simple as she’s making it out to be. Hence, “more complicated than that”. Seriously, what’s the point of responding to me if you only read the first couple of words before immediately jumping to conclusions?

Sorry, that rude and passive aggressive as hell. It was extremely unnecessary.
