Re: Nice/friendly reality competition shows

A big second to Masterchef Australia. None of the drama or 'win at all costs' contestants that you get in a lot of American shows. The focus always has been the food and you get to see is what happens in the kitchen. No behind-the-scenes bitching or scheming.

Contestants on Masterchef still try their best to win each challenge but are also super supportive of each other and will take time from their own cooks to help each other if they can. The judges are never super harsh when a dish goes wrong because the contestants already know if the cook went well or not. Genuinely a pretty wholesome show.

The current series is about halfway through right now and has both new and returning contestants competing together. I have been very much enjoying the show since the new judges took over.
