Huh. Well, different strokes. The casual and completely normalized sexism is one of the worst parts of cdramas for me. It's frustrating to see so few decent female characters who are allowed to be as complex, skilled, funny, clever, etc. as the male characters. It's also frustrating to me smacked in the face with the occasional, "Oh, she could never, she's just a girl" remarks that are made by the good guys. The frequent portrayal of female villains as psycho jealous bitches driven crazy by uncontrollable emotions are also hard to tolerate.
