Re: Who are your poor little meow meows?

I don't have any because it would mean I admit they're bad people, and I don't consider any character I woobify to be a bad person. It's canon that's wrong, if canon treats them like bad people. The characters I love because they're bad people aren't my meow meows because I love them for how awful they are, not for being woobies.

I mean, I would argue that if you have to ignore a significant bit of canon, or turn your head a full 90+ degrees on parts of canon, in order to see a character in the sympathetic light you want to see them in, then that's the epitome of a PLMM. IDK if that's what you meant by "canon is wrong," but if it was, then you probably do have some PLMM characters in your sandbox.

No, I literally mean I only woobify characters I really think canon is wrong about. Characters who literally did nothing wrong but canon treats them like they did because canon has different morals than me, so I woobify them to spite it. If I think a character did anything wrong, I'll admit they did.

That’s a bit disingenuous, and ayrt is right. It really seems like if you like a character that you admit you woobify, that you actually wouldn’t admit when they did anything wrong. You would just continue to insist that “canon is wrong”. It’s a bit self-serving in a way to play fast and loose with canon when it suits the narrative you have around a character, to the point where the canon is completely wrong to you of it doesn’t fit it.
