Charging a subscription fee for an adfree experience and then giving subscribers the option to still see Blaze ads was an absolute 4D chess move. Tumblr has been a blast, and I think its high degree of customization is the only thing that could save other platforms for me. Let me pay 20$ yearly for facebook and give me the option to turn off ads and all reblogged posts. I'm here to see how my grandma's neighbor's cat is doing not meme shitposting. (That's what tumblr's for...)
