Aw, sorry. Can't you do that to any of your older OTPs? Rekindle the love? My lullaby-ship for the past months has been one from a series I haven't revisited in over a decade except for fanfics. Whatever works!

OMG, I do this too!

I'm not sure of you're a writer of any sorts, but I find it works really well for me with original pairings of pairings in fanfic I'm invested in. And, yeah, I can revisit old ones.

I do this, along with making up elaborate multi-fandom crossovers where I'm a character. Only way I can get to sleep really is to put my mind on a story and relax myself into sleep.

write yourself some in-head gen stories, then. adventures, fresh takes on canon, new mysteries, whatever floats your boat. I've found that when I'm between pairings or just flat out not interested in fluff or smut visions, gen ideas scratch the same itch and get me to sleep just as quickly.

also, given me some good actual fic ideas!

Yeah, I do it too. Also I use this as indicator that my interest in fandom is going if I stop using it's characters as lullaby

I repeat what others are saying, can't you just go back to an older OTP? I've never really lost the love for any of mine, only just put them on the back burner when a new fave came along. Sometimes going back to an old love from 10 years ago is absolute magic.
