People seem to lump "Sexual" and "Romantic" into the same category and it kind of hurts my head a bit. It's possible to be one and not the other.

Yeah, I think for a lot of the people complaining about asexual fans wanting to see non-sexual relationships, in their minds, we're wanting the characters to be "just friends" because we're offended by gayness or something (even though a lot of us are queer ourselves). They don't seem to get that a relationship can be super romantic and ALSO non-sexual.
