Re: Isekai Methods

Everyday I think a lot about Kyou Kara Maoh and the guy who was sucked into the toilet while he was being bullied and the toilet took him to a magical land for dozens of episodes. It's like Narnia, but cooler. Never cared for Kyou Kara Maoh but damn. A+ plot. (Unironically. I do think about that and it makes me smile more than probably should.)

There was also a very Merupuri-like (that is a good thing in my book...) BL in which a guy being raped by his Tinder-equivalent date ejaculated into a "magical spirit channeling wheel" and accidentally summons the magical spirit he ends up dating. I think about that a lot too, but in a "that story was so good... but man what was THAT" way.

NAYRT Ooh, someone who remembers MeruPuri! I was so obsessed with that manga. Lol And oh man, I’m pretty sure I read that BL, but for the life of me, I can’t remember the title.

AYRT

Merupuri was soo good, too bad it was so short (therefore the fandom was very small). I remember reading it for the first time when I was bedridden with a flu and it became my joybringer, felt empty when it was over. Good times.

Yeahh ... Konya mo Nemurenai. Thank my backlog for this one!

I was disappointed that it ended up being only four volumes. It definitely felt like there could’ve been more to the story and the art was just beautiful. At least the ending was nice.

Thanks for the title! I remember liking that manga, but the beginning sure was . . . something.
