NAYRT but, that's a "different strokes" kind of impression I feel. As an asexual I do feel like that too, but as an asexual I DO feel like every heterosexual character in media is Too Heterosexual too. Which is probably not fair, they are just... heterosexual, which I am not. Maybe the same goes for homosexual characters. Biopics came to mind.

Which biopics though? So many of them downplay their main characters' queerness and shy away from showing it onscreen (The Imitation Game, Bohemian Rhapsody, etc)

AYRT - Didn't watch The Imitation Game, I was thinking of, say, Total Eclipse actually. But, again, it could be a matter of "different strokes" - I do feel like perfectly tame pairings regardless of sexual orientation are "too much" sometimes, because I forget that for other people sexual relationships are an important part of who they are.
